Jeremiah's Rolling

As of August 20th, Jeremiah can officially roll from back to front.
Yes, grandma's you heard right.
You're cute little grandbaby is growing up so fast.

My kids are such a joy in my life! They have been adjusting well to child care, which I am immensely thankful. Although it was kinda a given cause they're both extremely laid back kids (take after their daddy).












Jeremiah is discovering that his feet have flavor. I need to start giving him more baths! Both of the kids are doing well adjusting to this new area. I think they're going to love having other kids to play with whenever they want.

New Tribes Bible College

We made in one piece, well four to be exact. The trip to Michigan went better than expected. I was a little grumpy by the end of each day, but Josh kept me in check by his amazingly great attitude (Thanks honey!) We didn't stop anywhere for site seeing cause we were both anxious to get to our destination. But that's okay, it looked a little boring anyways....sorry to all of you who actually enjoy the dry, flat areas of this planet. We had a couple of blessings along the trip as well. The first one was when a 4am storm blew through, and left us miraculously dry, when everyone else who had tents ended up soaked to the bone. Praise God! That would have been a horrible mess to clean up. Our second miracle came when we forgot to put the oil cap back on. We had driven a few bumpy miles, and it was still inside our engine! Chicago was a mess, I'm glad we didn't stop there for a night. It's worse than Seattle! They have a ton of tolls to pay, and they have merging lanes everywhere! Uggghhh! It took us forever (in the heat of day of course) to get through that city. If anyone is thinking of visiting the Midwest, I recommend avoiding Chicago at all costs (unless of course you're dying to try a famous Chicago pizza, which no, we didn't stop to try). We arrived Friday around 6pm, Michigan time, and was greeted by many smiling faces. It is such a blessing to finally be here and see our new "family" for the next 2 years (maybe even four, if they continue on to Missionary training, as is our plan).
